HOMESTYLE BBQ BURGER
What is the secret to the most delicious burger? The Exereton BBQ sauce!
Ingredients for 4 burgers
500 g ground beef
2 tbsp Exereton BBQ sauce
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt
For cooking
A little oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
For serving
4 burger buns
Mustard
Lettuce leaves
Sliced pickled cucumber
Sliced tomato
Method
We will use a bowl to prepare the patties. Add the Exereton BBQ sauce, Parmesan cheese, extra virgin olive oil, salt and mix. Add the ground beef and knead briefly. Form into 4 patties.
Prepare the buns. Cook them in a hot pan without any oil, spread mustard on the bottom bun and Exereton BBQ sauce on the top bun.
Add a little oil to the pan, let it heat up, place the patties in the pan and add the onions on top. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side and turn with a spatula (so that the onions are now resting on the pan), add the cheddar cheese, cover with a lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Divide the lettuce leaves among the buns, add the burgers, cucumber pickles, tomato slices, season with salt, cover with the top bun and serve.
